Foods Dissected From Diet

Although brain cells wasted watching television, I was inundated with ads are full of marketing. Multi-Grain Chips, Brownies fiber, 100 calories what? "YES" fruit smoothies and frozen yogurt are a few culprits. Oxymorons epic make our minds around. With all these options, what you should buy?

One of my favorite quotes I use when it comes to discussing food choices are: "If it goes like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, it must be a duck." C ' really is that simple.

Multi Grain Chips. They go to many different names. Chips, thinner, Pops ... What is "Multi-Grain Pop" anyway? What it boils down to, unfortunately, is: "If it smells like a chip, the taste of a chip, the chip seems, has a chip." Chips more natural ingredients is a better choice than regular chips ... is still a chip.

Fiber Brownies. Another way to think creative marketing. Fibre Brownie sounds so delicious and healthy! WIN! Not so fast. Of course, the nutrition label reads "safe": 90 calories, 3g fat, 18g carbohydrates, 5 g fiber, 8 g sugar, 1 g protein, but if you plan to develop a healthy lifestyle, this is not going to cut it. Although it will not hurt to eat one every now and then, replacing the bad food and bad food on a regular basis chemically modified, not to replace bad habits!

What 100 calories? On the same note brownies, eat 100 calories daily snack of cookies, there is nothing better than eating cookies 300 calories worth. Make a better choice snack is more efficient to develop a healthier lifestyle, because in reality, the problems are not resolved with this fix any physical and psychological dependence to bad food, if you are still eating biscuits and snacks.

Smoothie 'Real'. Fast food chains of events are all fruit smoothies. Unfortunately, there are "real fruit", they mean real fruit syrup, a few small pieces of fruit had been added (if you're lucky). The answer to this trick is simple: if you watch someone put the fruit and water in a blender with nothing artificial, do not drink!

Finally, plain ol 'frozen yogurt. A classic marketing trick is to eat what the general public is afraid at one point. For a while it was cool, then carbohydrates was, so they started to produce all the "fat free" and "low carb". In fact, usually means more fat-free carbohydrates / sugar, while low-carb means high fat. Frozen yogurt is a "low fat" product loaded with sugar. You might as well use a cheat of your meals and eat real ice. At least real ice cream has a balance of chemicals in fat and sugar and less.

In conclusion, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. It is difficult for many Americans to understand that nature, well-balanced diet will do more for their health and fat loss than any amount of food in the diet of luxury. The next time you find yourself confused by a marketing plan, think back to ancient human existence - we eat multigrain "pops" and brownies in fiber? Our bodies were not made to digest and properly use these concoctions. Say "thank you" to your body so it does it for you by introducing an apple and some almonds instead!
